UPDATE: POSTPONED - Road closure on LA 397 – Calcasieu Parish
UPDATE: Due to inclement weather, this road closure has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date. DOTD will issue a notification when that rescheduling occurs.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 397 will be closed to traffic between Farm Road and McNeese Street from Monday, June 22 at 6 a.m. to Saturday, June 27.
The closure will allow the contractor to remove and replace a cross drain pipe. The detour routes for traffic west of LA 397 are LA 14 and US 90. The detour routes for traffic east of LA 397 are LA 14, LA 101 and US 90. Detour signs will be in place during the closure. All activity is weather permitting.
