Union Pacific Railroad
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that US 167, Lecompte, Rapides Parish, will be closed at Union Pacific Railroad Tracks. The work will be done at Milepost 92.690 and is on Control Section 057-08. The closure will be on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from 10:00 AM with a reopen at 7:00 PM. The closure is for Union Pacific to replace the approaches at the crossing.
Permit/Detour section
The Roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be US 167 to LA 456 to LA 112 to US 71 South to US 167. The detour can accept oversized loads and will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the Road Closure.
