UPDATE: ROAD IS OPEN: US 11, between I-10 and US 90, Orleans Parish

UPDATE: Flood waters have receded and the roadway has been REOPENED.

Effective immediately, both directions of US 11 is closed between I-10 and US 90 due to high water.

With the threat of severe weather and heavy rainfall that may impact areas of the state, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) reminds motorists to take extra precautions should traveling be necessary.
