UPDATE: Flood waters have receded and the roadway has been REOPENED.

Effective immediately, the following routes are closed due to flooding:
LA 300 south of the LA 46 intersection in Florissant to the end of the road.
LA 46 south of the LA 300 intersection in Florissant to the end of the road.
LA 624 entire length.
LA 625 entire length.

With the threat of severe weather and heavy rainfall that may impact areas of the state, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) reminds motorists to take extra precautions should traveling be necessary.
