UPDATE: I-210 eastbound nighttime lane closures – Calcasieu Parish
UPDATE: Due to weather, tonight’s closure has been postponed. The I-210 eastbound closure between Nelson Road and Lake street will now occur Tuesday, June 9 and Wednesday, June 10, and the I-210 eastbound closure from Lake Street to Ryan Street will be Thursday, June 11. Closure times remain the same.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that I-210 eastbound will have the following closures:
- One lane closure on Monday, June 8 to Tuesday, June 9 nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. between Nelson Road and Lake Street.
- One lane closure on Wednesday, June 10 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Lake Street to Ryan Street.
These closures are related to the ongoing project to install live traffic cameras and message boards on I-210. These nightly lane closures are necessary to allow crews to begin foundation work. All work is weather permitting.
