UPDATE: LA 384 NB (University Drive) road closure – Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: This closure has been extended to Tuesday, June 9 through Friday, June 12. The closure will occur daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. All work is weather dependent.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 384 northbound (University Drive) from Contour Drive to McNeese Street will be closed Friday, June 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Monday, June 8 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Traffic may detour to LA 3092 (Lake Street). All work is weather dependent. The closures are necessary for work crews to pour concrete as part of the ongoing improvements project.
