From Sunday, May 31, 2020, through Thursday, June 4, 2020, there will be alternating left and right lane closures on I-12 Eastbound and Westbound between US 190 (Mile Marker 63) and LA 59 (Mile Marker 66). These closures will be from the hours of 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM nightly, weather permitting. This is to allow the contractor to perform asphalt inlay operations.
One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.
There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access on I-12. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.
On Friday, June 5, 2020, there will be alternating left and right lane closures on I-12 Eastbound between US 190 (Mile Marker 63) and LA 59 (Mile Marker 66). These closures will be from the hours of 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM, weather permitting. This is to allow the contractor to perform striping and traffic swap operations. Additionally, there will be intermittent rolling roadblock closures, less than 15 minutes in duration, in order for traffic shifting operations to take place.
There will also be FULL and INTERMITTENT RAMP CLOSURES for I-12 Eastbound as follows:
On Tuesday, June 2, 2020, and Thursday, June 4, 2020, there will be a FULL CLOSURE of the I-12 Eastbound off-ramp of US 190 interchange (Exit 63B) from 8:00 PM to 3:00 AM, weather permitting. This is to allow the contractor to perform asphalt inlay operations.
On Wednesday, June 3, 2020, there will be a FULL CLOSURE of the US 190 on-ramp of I-12 Eastbound interchange from 8:00 PM to 3:00 AM, weather permitting. This is to allow the contractor to perform asphalt inlay operations.
On Friday, June 5, 2020, there will be INTERMITTENT RAMP CLOSURES of the I-12 Eastbound off-ramp of US 190 interchange (Exit 63B) and the I-12 Eastbound off-ramp of LA 59 interchange (Exit 65). These closures will be from the hours of 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, weather permitting. This is to allow the contractor to perform striping and traffic swap operations.
Detour Section
Motorists traveling I-12 EB wishing to exit US 190 Westbound (Exit 63B) may take US 190 Eastbound (Exit 63A) and transition to US 190 Westbound at Fairway Dr/Judge Tanner Blvd.
Motorists wishing to enter I-12 EB via US 190 West may travel north on US 190, make a legal U-turn, then travel on US 190 East to get onto I-12 EB.
Motorists traveling I-12 EB wishing to exit LA 59 (Exit 65) may take I-12 EB to LA 1088 West (Exit 68) and transition from LA 1088 West to LA 59.
