UPDATE: OPEN - Road closure on LA 1147 – Beauregard Parish

UPDATE: The cross drain replacement is complete and the roadway has been reopened to traffic.

LA 1147 (MP 2) between Ralph Bushnell Road and Mitchell Harper Road will be closed from Monday June 1, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. until Friday, June 5, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

The closure is necessary to replace a cross drain. Motorists may use LA 26 and LA 113 as a detour route. All work is weather dependent.

DOTD appreciate your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction and maintenance site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
