UPDATE - POSTPONED: Road closure on LA 1133 – Sulphur - Calcasieu Parish
UPDATE: This closure has been postponed. A notification will be sent when the new closure date has been set.
LA 1133 will have a full closure at the railroad crossing just west of its intersection with Clifton Ridge Road. The closure will begin today, Monday, May 18, 2020 and continue until tomorrow, Tuesday, May 19 at 6 a.m.
The lane closure is necessary for Union Pacific Railroad and DOTD to perform crossing repairs. Motorists may use LA 27 as a detour route. All work and activity is weather dependent.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
