UPDATE: Nighttime lane closure: I-210 eastbound and westbound – Calcasieu Parish
UPDATE: The lane closure scheduled for tonight, Thursday, May 14 has been cancelled due to weather.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that I-210 will have the following closures:
- I-210 westbound from the Common Street to Lake Street will be reduced to one lane Tuesday, May 12, 2020 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- I-210 eastbound from Ernest Street to Ryan Street will be reduced to one lane Thursday, May 14, 2020 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
These closures are related to the ongoing project to install live traffic cameras and message boards on I-210. The lane closures are necessary to allow crews to begin foundation work. All work is weather permitting.
