Nighttime lane closure: I-210 WB from Lake Street to Nelson Road– Calcasieu Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that I-210 westbound from Lake Street (Exit 5) to Nelson Road (Exit 4) will be reduced to one lane from Wednesday, May 6 at 7 p.m. to Thursday, May 7 at 6 a.m. The inside left turn lane on the Nelson Road exit ramp will be closed from midnight to 6 a.m. on Thursday, May 7.
These closures are related to the ongoing project to install live traffic cameras and message boards on I-210. The lane closures are necessary to allow crews to begin foundation work. All work is weather permitting.
