UPDATE: ST. TAMMANY PARISH - I-12: US 190 TO LA 59 (ADDITIONAL RAMP CLOSURE AND DETOUR INFORMATION)

From Sunday, May 3, 2020, through Thursday, May 7, 2020, there will be alternating single lane closures on I-12 Westbound between US 190 (Mile Marker 63) to LA 59 (Mile Marker 66). These closures will be from the hours of 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM nightly, weather permitting. This is to allow the contractor to perform asphalt inlay operations.

One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.

There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access on I-12. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.

There will also be FULL ON-RAMP CLOSURES for I-12 Westbound of the LA 59 interchange nightly Monday, May 4, 2020, and Tuesday, May 5, 2020.

FULL OFF-RAMP CLOSURES for I-12 Westbound of the US 190 interchange (Exit 63B) will be on Thursday night, May 7, 2020, and Sunday night, May 10, 2020. Full ramp closures will be from hours of 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM nightly, weather permitting. These closures is to allow the contractor to perform asphalt inlay operations.

Detour Section

Motorists wishing to enter I-12 WB via LA 59 may take I-12 EB to LA 1088 and transition from EB off-ramp (Exit 68) to LA 1088 on-ramp back to I-12 WB.

Motorists traveling I-12 WB wishing to exit US 190 NB (Exit 63B) may take US 190 SB (Exit 63A) and transition to US 190 NB at Fairway Dr/Judge Tanner Blvd.
