Replacement of Cowpen Bayou Bridge on LA 12 is complete – Beauregard Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that replacement of Cowpen Bayou Bridge (MP 31.3) on LA 12 between Clark Road and Bruce Road/South Cooley Road is complete. Traffic control devices will be picked up and the road is set to reopen this afternoon.

Crews removed the existing bridge and installed a new bridge, guardrail, and temporary pavement markings. The installation of permanent pavement markings will be completed at a later date.
