UPDATE: 5:00 PM 4/16/2020

- LA 15 (S. 2nd Street) from LA 594 (Texas Ave.) and Orange Street - REOPENED TO THRU TRAFFIC

- US 165 Business (Jackson Street) from Texas Ave. to Orange Street - REOPENED TO THRU TRAFFIC


- LA 594 (Millhaven Road) from Nutland Road to the US 165 Overpass - REMAINS CLOSED DUE TO A COMBINATION OF DOWN POWELINES AND POWERPOLES


City, state, and private work crews are continuing to work at all three locations and neighborhoods removing trees and debris.




ROAD CLOSURES DUE TO WEATHER: Ouachita Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, due to severe weather that occured on Sunday, April 12, 2020, the following roadways remain closed for the removal of downed power lines and trees:

- LA 15 (S. 2nd Street) from LA 594 (Texas Ave.) and Orange Street
- US 165 Business (Jackson Street) from Texas Ave. to Orange Street
- LA 594 (Millhaven Road) from Nutland Road to the US 165 Overpass


DOTD will advise when these roadways have been reopened and are safe for travel.
