LA 328 (Rees Street) Northbound & Southbound under I-10 overpass, St. Martin Parish – Road Closure

LA 328 (Rees Street), northbound and southbound, under the I-10 overpass will be closed Monday, April 6 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, April 7 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary for barrier rail installation on LA 328.
The detour route for LA 328 northbound traffic is I-10 eastbound to LA 347 to I-10 westbound back to LA 328 northbound.
The detour route for LA Avenue southbound traffic is I-10 westbound to LA Avenue to I-10 eastbound back to LA 328 southbound.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area during this closure.
The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).
The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in September 2020.
