Jefferson Hwy (LA 73) will have intermittent lane closures beginning Monday, March 30th, and extending through Friday, April 3rd, 2020, between the intersections of Airline Hwy (US 61) and Highland Rd (LA 948). Closures times will be from 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday to Friday. One lane of travel will be maintained in each direction at all times between Airline Hwy and Tiger Bend (four lane concrete section). Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic through work zones between Tiger Bend and Highland Rd (two lane asphalt section).
These closures are necessary for pavement striping and pavement markings.
These closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
