I-55: LA22 INTERSTATE LIGHTING – TANGIPAHOA PARISH - STATE PROJECT H.012874

Update:
I-55: Left Lane Closures on I-55 Northbound near the Ponchatoula Exit (Mile Point 26) are scheduled beginning Monday, March 30, 2020 through Friday, April 10, 2020, from 7 PM to 3 PM, weather permitting, while crews remove existing light poles within the median area. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone at all times.
LA 22: Right Lane Closures on LA 22 both eastbound and westbound are scheduled beginning Wednesday, April 1 , 2020 through Wednesday, April 15, 2020, from 9 AM to 2 PM (Weekday), weather permitting, while crews remove existing light poles. Weekend alternating and single lane closures will occur without time restrictions. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone at all times.
PERMIT INFORMATION:
Wide loads will be restricted to 12’ through the work zone. Emergency vehicles will have access.
DETOUR INFORMATION:
The following alternate routes may be used to avoid the construction zone:
Motorists traveling I-55 North may take US 51 Business North (Exit 23) to I-12, then west to re-intersect I-55.
Motorists traveling LA 22 east may take LA 42 west to LA 43, then north to I-12, then east to US 51 Business (exit 40), then south to re-intersect LA 22.
Motorists traveling LA 22 west may take US 51 Business north to I-12, then west to LA 43 (exit 32), then south to LA 42, then east to re-intersect LA 22.
