NOW OPEN: LA 151 south of Pleasant Valley in Ouachita Parish

UPDATE (05/22/2020): Cockerel Creek Bridge on LA 151 in Ouachita Parish is NOW OPEN.
(04/15/2020): Due to weather and maintenance delays, the Cockerel Creek Bridge closure on LA 151 will be extended until all necessary repairs are completed.
BRIDGE CLOSURE
Beginning Tuesday, March 10, 2020, Cockerel Creek Bridge on LA 151 in Ouachita Parish will be CLOSED to all through traffic, approximately 0.3 miles south of the Ouachita/Union parish line. This bridge closure is required so that DOTD maintenance crews can make necessary repairs to the bridge.
DOTD reminds motorists to NEVER drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason.
PERMIT/DETOUR
The detour can be accessed using routes LA 150, LA 145, and I-20.
