I-10 westbound between LA 347 (Cecilia, Henderson) and LA 328 (Breaux Bridge) will have a traffic shift to the newly constructed temporary lanes at approximately mile marker 114.8 and then traffic will be shifted back to the existing lanes at mile marker 112.5 on Saturday, March 7 at 12:30 a.m., weather permitting.

This traffic shift is necessary to allow the contractor to begin construction on the permanent pavement in the middle section of the new interstate highway.

The road will be open to regular traffic with an 11-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
