Jefferson Hwy (LA 73) will have outside lane closures beginning Thursday, March 5th, and extending through Monday, March 16th, 2020, between the intersections of Airline Hwy (US 61) and Tiger Bend. Closures times will be from 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM Monday to Friday. Weekend closures will also take place from 8:00 PM Friday to 5:00 AM Monday. One lane of travel will be maintained in each direction at all times.
These closures are necessary for sandblasting and painting catchbasins.
Jefferson Hwy (LA 73) will also have alternating lane closures beginning Thursday, March 5th and continuing through Monday, March 16th 2020, between the intersections of Tiger Bend Rd and Highland Rd (LA 948). Closures times will be from 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Monday to Friday. Weekend closures will also take place from 8:00 PM Friday to 5:00 AM Monday. One lane of travel will be maintained at all times. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic through the work zone.
These closures are necessary for striping and guardrail replacement on Jefferson Hwy.
These closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
