Alternating lane closures on Sen. J Bennett Johnston Ave. – Calcasieu Parish

Senator J. Bennett Johnston Avenue from Merganser Street to Broad Street will have alternating lane closures daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, February 24 to Friday, February 28, weather permitting.

Traffic will be maintained through the work zone by flaggers. The closures are necessary for crews to begin milling as part of a resurfacing project.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
