NOW OPEN: LA 603 south of Tallulah in Madison Parish

**HARPER BAYOU BRIDGE ON LA 603 IN MADISON PARISH IS NOW OPEN TO TRAFFIC.**

BRIDGE CLOSURE

Effective immediately, Harper Bayou Bridge crossing Roundaway Bayou on LA 603 in Madison Parish is closed to all through traffic, approximately 5 miles east of US 65. This bridge closure is required due to rising flood waters overtopping the bridge. Once flood waters recede, the bridge will be inspected and will be returned to full traffic flow when deemed safe to do so.

DOTD reminds motorists to NEVER drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason. Also, remember to never drive through standing or running water.

No permit requirements or detours are associated or required by this lane closure.
