UPDATE: I-10 WB nighttime closures from LA 108 to I-210– Calcasieu Parish
UPDATE: The I-10 westbound nighttime closure has been extended to tonight, Thursday, January 30 from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that I-10 westbound between the LA 108 (Exit 23) and I-210 interchanges (Exit 25) will be reduced to one lane nightly from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, January 26 to Wednesday, January 30. I-10 westbound will continue to be reduced to two lanes 24/7 with the exception of the optional additional lane closures at night.
LA 108 eastbound and westbound interchange service roads will continue to have intermittent shoulder closures from Monday, January 27 to Friday, January 31 to construct detour routes.
Motorists are advised the I-10 westbound work zone speed limit has been reduced to 50 MPH. All closures are weather permitting.
