US 165 at Richwood sidewalk construction, Ouachita Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that sidewalks will be constructed along both sides of US 165 in Ouachita Parish starting near Richwood High School (log mile 1.553) and ending near Ollie Burns Public Library (log mile 2.425).
Work is expected to begin mid-February 2020 and wrap up in Summer 2020, with progress dependent on weather conditions.
Shoulders closest to work zones will be closed to provide for worker safety and for handling of construction equipment.
Permit / Detour section: N/A (No detour is necessary for this project)
Restrictions: Outside shoulder closure
