DOTD announces alternating Clearview Parkway lane closures in Jefferson Parish

Jefferson Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces lane closures for a roadway rehabilitation project on Clearview Parkway, from West Metairie Avenue to West Napoleon Avenue in Jefferson Parish. Beginning Monday, January 6, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, the northbound and southbound lanes will have alternating lane closures weekly.

This $1.7 million project includes patching and leveling the roadway, asphalt overlay, drainage improvements at intersections, safety improvements, and modifications of turn lanes and crossovers.

The contractor, Diamond B Construction Co., L.L.C., is estimated to complete this project fall 2020. All construction activity is weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.

DOTD appreciates the motoring public’s patience and reminds drivers to please exercise caution when traveling through work zone areas and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking or biking near an active work zone.
