RESCHEDULED - RAMP CLOSURE: I-20 westbound on-ramp from LA 1 northbound, Caddo Parish
UPDATE: This ramp closure has been rescheduled to take place on the night of Tuesday, January 7, 2020, beginning at 9:00 p.m. The ramp will be reopened by 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8th.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Thursday, January 2, 2020 beginning at 9:00 p.m., the I-20 westbound on-ramp from LA 1 (Youree Drive) northbound in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be closed.
This ramp closure is scheduled to take place from 9:00 p.m. on January 2nd until 6:00 a.m. on January 3, 2020.
This ramp closure is necessary for the replacement of a damaged crash attenuator. A crash attenuator, also known as an impact attenuator, is a device intended to reduce the damage to structures, vehicles, and lessen injuries to motorists resulting from a collision. These devices are designed to absorb the colliding vehicle's energy.
Alternate Route: Detour signs will be in place.
Restrictions/Permits: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
