LA 22: Near I-10 Geometric Improvement, Lane Closure, Ascension Parish

Construction for State Project H.011314 LA 22 in Ascension Parish for a length of 1.217 miles. The type of work required is clearing and grubbing, subgrade treatment, drainage structures, milling asphalt pavement, pavement patching, asphalt concrete pavement, portland cement concrete pavement, concrete walks and drives, dilled shaft foundations, traffic signalization, and related work.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists of an upcoming road closure and traffic shift beginning January 6, 2020. Motorists traveling on LA 22 westbound from US 61 towards I-10 will be merged to the outside lane.
This lane closure is necessary to begin removal of existing roadway in preparation for median work in this area.
No oversized loads will be allowed through the construction zone.
