Jefferson Hwy (LA 73) will have outside lane closures beginning Thursday, December 5th, and continuing through Sunday, January 12th, 2020, between the intersections of Airline Hwy (US 61) and Tiger Bend. Closures times will be from 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Monday to Friday. Weekend closures will also take place from 8:00 PM Friday to 5:00 AM Monday. One lane of travel will be maintained in each direction at all times.
These closures are necessary for removing and repairing concrete sidewalk and driveways and repairing concrete curb and gutter.
Jefferson Hwy (LA 73) will also have alternating lane closures beginning Sunday, December 8th and continuing through Sunday, January 12th 2020, between the intersections of Tiger Bend Rd and Highland Rd (LA 948). Closures times will be from 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Monday to Friday. Weekend closures will also take place from 8:00 PM Friday to 5:00 AM Monday. One lane of travel will be maintained at all times. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic through the work zone.
These closures are necessary for milling and overlaying Jefferson Hwy between Tiger Bend and Highland Rd (LA 948).
These closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
