LA 18, River Road, Jefferson Parish

LA 18 (River Road) will be closed at Host Terminals (formerly Avondale Shipyard), 5100 River Road in Avondale, while crews replace the railroad track crossing. The full road closure will begin at 11:00 AM Friday, December 6th and end on Sunday, December 9th at 6:00 AM. Motorists will be required to detour at LA 541 on the east side of the closure and at Willswood Lane on the west side of the closure. Only local traffic will be allowed to travel beyond the detour points.
The detour routes will be Willswood Lane to US 90 for LA 18 eastbound and US 90 for LA 18 westbound.
