EXTENDED South Doyle Melancon Road from LA 347 to Hollier Road, St. Martin Parish – Road Closure, H.009456

South Doyle Melancon Road from LA 347 to Hollier Road in St. Martin Parish will be closed beginning Saturday, November 23, from 7:00 a.m. to Wednesday, November 27, at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The closure is necessary as part of the construction of the LA 347 and Doyle Melancon Roundabout. Construction crews will be performing work necessary to switch traffic from the existing Doyle Melancon Road to the new Doyle Melancon roadway, as part of the roundabout.
No thru traffic will be allowed during these times.
The detour route for the public traveling north on South Doyle Melancon, take Hollier Road to LA 347 North (South Poydras Street) then East LA 347 (Grand Point Highway) to the intersection of LA 347 and Doyle Melancon.
The detour route for public traveling south on North Doyle Melancon, take LA 347 West (Grand Point Highway), turn south on LA 347 (South Poydras Street) then turn on Hollier Road eastward to South Doyle Melancon Road.
