LA 440: BOX CULVERT REPAIR – TANGIPAHOA - STATE PROJECT H.013814
On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, between 7:00 AM and 7:00PM, there will be alternating single lane closures on LA 440 at a point 0.37 miles east of LA. 1061 and 5.05 miles west of LA. 1057 (weather permitting) while crews perform emergency culvert repairs and related work.
One lane will remain open in both directions at all times.
PERMIT INFORMATION:
There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.
DETOUR INFORMATION:
Motorist may use the following routes to avoid the construction zone.
Motorists traveling LA. 440 east may take LA. 1061 north to LA. 1057, then east to re-intersect with LA. 440.
Motorists traveling LA. 440 west may take LA. 1057 west to LA. 1061, then south to re-intersect with LA. 440
