SPEED LIMIT CHANGES: LA 3258 (Miller Avenue) - Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parishes

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists of speed limit changes on LA 3258 beginning today, September 23.

The speed limit on LA 3258 (Miller Avenue) from just west of Hardy Street to just east of W. J. Lowe Drive will be 35 MPH. Further to the east to the Calcasieu/Jefferson Davis parish line, the speed limit will be 45 mph. From the parish line to US 165, the speed limit will be 50 MPH.

DOTD is working with local law enforcement agencies as this change goes into effect, and advises motorists to be aware of the decrease and drive with caution.
