LA 63, Pigeon Creek Bridge in St. Helena Parish, approx. 1.5 miles South of LA 37 and approx. 2 miles North of LA 16, will be closed from 7:00 am Sunday, November 3, 2019 7:00 am Wednesday, November 6, 2019 through 7:00 pm Tuesday, January 7, 2020 (weather permitting). The bridge will be closed completely and no traffic will be able to pass while crews replace the existing bridge. See detours mentioned below.
Detours Routes:
• Northbound motorists can take LA 63 South to LA 16 East to LA 449 North to LA 37 West back to LA 63.
• Southbound motorists can take LA 63 North to LA 37 East to LA 449 South to LA 16 West back to LA 63.
