ST. TAMMANY PARISH – RAMP CLOSURES OF I-12 INTERCHANGES AT LA 1088 AND LA 59

On Sunday, September 15, 2019, through Saturday, September 21, 2019, there will be nightly alternating single lane closures both Eastbound and Westbound of I-12 between LA 59 and Bayou Lacombe/LA 434 from 8:00 PM until 6:00 AM nightly. Additionally, during these hours, there will be nightly alternating RAMP CLOSURES both Eastbound and Westbound of the I-12 Interchanges at LA 1088 and LA 59.
This is for crews to finish asphalt paving operations and begin permanent striping on I-12, weather permitting.
Please direct attention to the message boards on the project for nightly ramp closure schedule.
DETOUR SECTION
Motorists traveling WB I-12 wishing to exit at LA 59 may take I-12 WB to US 190 and transition from the WB off-ramp to the EB on-ramp back to LA 59.
Motorists traveling EB I-12 wishing to exit at LA 59 may take I-12 EB to LA 1088 South to LA 59.
Motorists traveling WB wishing to exit at LA 1088 may take I-12 WB to LA 59 South LA 1088.
Motorists traveling EB wishing to exit at LA 1088 may take I-12 EB to LA 434 and transition from the EB off-ramp to the WB on-ramp back to LA 1088.
There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.
