The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that, weather permitting, work will begin on the Sneed Road Bridge Replacement Project on Monday, July 22, 2019 and will continue for approximately (3) three months. This bridge replacement project is located on Sneed Road over Toro Creek, which is approximately 0.55 miles west of the intersection with Warren Church Road and 0.64 miles east of the intersection with Corleyville Road. This 0.091 mile long bridge replacement project will receive clearing and grubbing, grading, drainage structures, concrete slab span bridge, precast concrete piles and related work.

The project was awarded to the low bidder, TL Hawk, LLC in the amount of $497,499.68.

Permit/Detour Section
The contractor will begin removal of the existing structure on Thursday, July 25, 2019 and the roadway will be closed to all local and through traffic for the duration of the project.
