**UPDATE: LA 427 (Acadian Thruway) @ Railroad Underpass is now open. **
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 427 (Acadian Thruway) will be closed in the Southbound direction between I-10 and Perkins Rd. between 3:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. at the Railroad Underpass in East Baton Rouge Parish due to emergency repairs to the railroad structure.
Police will be present.
Please travel with caution.
