UPDATE: The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that US 165 northbound has REOPENED, but HIGH WATER remains.

DOTD reminds motorists to drive with caution.

US 165 north of Oberlin between milepost 31 to 32 and milepost 34 to 35 is CLOSED again due to high water.


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that US 165 northbound has REOPENED, but HIGH WATER remains.

DOTD reminds motorists to drive with caution.



The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that US 165 north of Oberlin between milepost 31 to 32 and milepost 34 to 35 is CLOSED due to high water.

Please drive with caution through low-lying areas that are prone to flooding, and never attempt to drive through standing water.
