UPDATE: ROAD IS OPEN: LA 55, 1 Mile North of the Humble Canal Bridge, Terrebonne Parish

ROAD IS OPEN:
LA 55, the Terrebonne Parishe Levee District is staging equipment for an emergency levee repair operation approximately 1 mile north of the Humble Canal Bridge near Pump Station Road.
Please drive throught this area carefully and be on the look-out for workers and equipment.
With the threat of severe weather and heavy rainfall that may impact areas of the state, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) reminds motorists to take extra precautions should traveling be necessary.
