I-10 westbound from Mile Marker 100 to Mile Marker 108 (LA 328 Off-Ramp), St. Martin Parish, Alternating Lane Closures
Wednesday, July 03, 2019 at 1:45:05 PM
There will be intermittent lane closures of the left and right lanes of I-10 westbound from mile marker 100 to mile marker 108 (LA 328 Off-Ramp) on Monday, July 8, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to repair multiple damaged crash attenuators.

The alternate route for traffic is US 190 to I-49 back to I-10 westbound.

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area during the closure due to no shoulder on either side of the roadway. No detour.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in fall 2019.
