DOTD announces the start of a Road Construction Project on US 90 at LA 329 overpass in Iberia Parish, SPN H.011989

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, July 15, 2019, road construction will begin on a project estimated at $2.1 million on US 90 at the Louisiana & Delta Railroad (LDRR) and LA 329 overpass in Iberia Parish. The work is an overpass rehabilitation which consists of portland cement concrete pavement, concrete approach slabs, bridge repairs, epoxy-urethane overlay, and related work.
The work is estimated to take place daily and nightly, weather permitting.
There will be alternating lane closures throughout the duration of the project which will be announced at a later date. The road will be open to regular traffic with a 10-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone for the duration of the project.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
The project is estimated for completion in September 2019.
