I-10 eastbound from Mile Marker 107 (LA 31 Overpass) to Mile Marker 109 (LA 328 Off-Ramp), St. Martin Parish, Lane Closure
Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 9:15:38 AM
The right lane of I-10 eastbound from mile marker 107 (LA 31 overpass) to mile marker 109 (LA 328 Off-Ramp) will be closed on Friday, June 28, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to repair a damaged crash attenuator.

The alternate route for traffic is I-49 northbound to US 190 back to I-10 eastbound.

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area during the closure due to no shoulder on either side of the roadway. No detour.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in fall 2019.
