LA 1218; Noble, Sabine Parish

Control Section 843-03
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 1218 in Noble, Sabine Parish, will be closed at the Kansas City Southern Railroad track. The work is being done at milepost 0.49 and is on control section 843-03. The closure will be Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 7:00 a.m. with a reopening to traffic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. The closure is for Kansas City Southern Railroad to replace the track panel and the crossing surface.
Permit/Detour Section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time.
The detour will be LA 1218 to US 171 to LA 120 to US 171B to LA 475 to LA 482 to LA 191 to LA 1218.
The detour can accept oversized loads.
The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public.
All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
