UPDATE - REOPENED: LA 348 in Union Parish
UPDATE: The repairs to LA 348 have been completed and the roadway has been REOPENED.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 348 in Union Parish is closed effective immediately due to a roadway washout at the bridge over Big Cane Creek. This closure is located approximately one mile east of LA 33 and 5.8 miles west of LA 549.
This closure will be in effect until repairs can be made to the roadway.
