EMERGENCY LANE CLOSURE - LA 1 (LA 77 to Plaquemine St.) - Iberville Parish ***ALL LANES OPEN***

ALL LANES ARE NOW OPEN. A temporary repair has been made. Additional repairs will be required at a later date, at which time additional notices with more details will be sent.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that effective immediately, LA 1 southbound will have one lane closed from LA 77 to Plaquemine Street in Iberville Parish. This closure is necessary due to a roadway failure related to a subsurface utility line.

Additional notifications will be issued when the lane is reopened. There are no vehicle restrictions.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
