INTERMITTENT LANE CLOSURES: LA 526 (Bert Kouns Industrial Loop) over I-20, Caddo Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 am and Sunday, June 16, 2019 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. LA 526 (Bert Kouns Industrial Loop) over I-20 in Caddo Parish will have intermittent lane closures to repair expansion joints between the roadway and approach panels to a bridge allow for absorption of the expansion of highway pavement. These joints are designed to safely absorb the heat-induced expansion and contraction of construction materials, vibration, and to hold various portions of the roadway together.
Work will be performed between approximately 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., and is expected to last two (2) days.
Alternate route: N/A
Restrictions/Permits: Single lane closures only. Interstate will remain open.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
