UPDATE: LA 383 (North Thomson Avenue) road closure – Iowa - Calcasieu Parish
UPDATE: Due to weather, this closure has been postponed to Wednesday, June 26.
Update: This closure was postponed yesterday due to weather. The new date for the closure is Monday, June 24. LA 383 (North Thomson Avenue) will be closed 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday, June 24 at the railroad crossing (MP 25.238), located between the Iowa Fire Department and Market Basket. All work is weather permitting.
LA 383 (North Thomson Avenue) road closure – Iowa - Calcasieu Parish
LA 383 (North Thomson Avenue) will be closed 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday, June 17 at the railroad crossing (MP 25.238), located between the Iowa Fire Department and Market Basket, weather permitting.
The closure is necessary for Union Pacific and DOTD to perform crossing and road repairs.
Motorist will be detoured via US 90 East and West to the south, US 165 North to the East, LA 3258 West to the North and LA 3256 North and East to the West. Due to the imposed traffic delays, drivers are encouraged to pursue alternate routes.
