NATCHITOCHES PARISH ROAD CONSTRUCTION

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 7:00 am, work will begin on the above referenced project. Lane closures beginning at 7:00 am through 7:00 pm can be expected. Operations will continue approximately 60 days or until work is complete. This will allow for construction of truss sign footings and installation of overhead signs along LA 1 north bound near Natchitoches. However, thru traffic will be maintained through the project at all times.
The project consists of permanent signing, sign mountings, sign mounting footings and related work.
This contract was awarded to Alpha Service and Products, Inc. at a cost of $535,366.65. This project is expected to be completed within the 125 working days with exceptions for inclement weather.
Permit/Detour section
No restrictions will be implemented on permit loads during this work.
