CANCELED - I-10 EB from mile marker 108 (LA 328 Off-Ramp) to mile marker 109 (LA 328 On-Ramp), St. Martin Parish, Lane Closure
Wednesday, June 05, 2019 at 2:25:02 PM

UPDATE: THIS CLOSURE HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.

The right lane of I-10 eastbound from mile marker 108 (LA 328 Off-Ramp) to mile marker 109 (LA 328 On-Ramp) will be closed on the following nights, weather permitting.

• Wednesday, June 5 at 8 p.m. until Thursday, June 6 at 6 a.m.

• Thursday, June 6 at 8 p.m. until Friday, June 7 at 6 a.m.

This closure is necessary to all crews to erect the eastbound girder.

The alternate route for traffic is I-49 to US 190 and then back to I-10 eastbound.

Emergency vehicles will not be able to pass through this lane closure because there is no shoulder on either side of the roadway.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in fall 2019.
