This press release is being issued because this work was not performed on Thursday, October 31, 2013 and Friday, November 1, 2013, due to  inclement weather conditions. This work has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 7:00 a.m. until Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists are advised that beginning Thursday, October 31, 2013 from 7:00 a.m. until Friday, November 1, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. LA 157 just north of its intersection with US 80 in Bossier Parish railroad crossing will be closed.  These closures are associated with railroad maintenance. This work is anticipated to last approximately two (2) days.

DETOUR:  Northbound traffic will be diverted to US 80 to US 371 to LA 528. Southbound traffic will be diverted to LA 528 to US 371 to US 80.

RESTRICTIONS/PERMITS:  Full Closure
