EXTENDED Albertson Parkway, Lafayette Parish – Alternating Lane Closure

Broussard, LA - Albertson Parkway will have alternating lane closures Thursday, May 23 and Friday, May 24, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.
This closure is to install asphalt on Albertson Parkway.
No detours are needed. All traffic movements will be maintained during the lane closure.
No lane restrictions are needed.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
